What is Coolsculpting?

Coolsculpting is a cryolipolysis (fat-freezing), non-invasive body contouring treatment to permanently remove stubborn fat cell deposits. It is the only FDA-cleared, non-surgical fat-reduction treatment that uses controlled cooling to eliminate stubborn fat that resists diet and exercise efforts. The results are clinically proven, noticeable, and lasting. The method involves controlled application of cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cell underneath the skin. Treated fat cell are crystalized (frozen) and then over time your body naturally processes and eliminates the dead cells, leaving a more sculpted you.

What to Expect?

During your treatment, a gel or gel pad and applicator are applied to the targeted area. Applicators that use vacuum suction will draw the tissue into the applicator cup. Controlled cooling is then delivered to the treatment area for a duration of 35 to 75 minutes. Treatment times vary depending on the area of treatment and applicator used. You may feel pulling, tugging, or mild pinching, or intense cold. These sensations subside as the area becomes numb. Following the procedure, typically side effects include temporary redness, swelling, and tenderness.

What is the Down Time?

The Coolsculpting procedure is completely non-surgical, which makes returning to normal activities afterwards a typically easy process. Often times, patients even return to work after their Coolsculpting treatment is over.

How Many Treatments will I Need?
